Klondike has a very pretty face, he is a bit of pretty boy.  He is a big horse and enjoys his job.  He is a quarterhorse.  One summer we just had too many horses,  so we sold Klondike, Jackie cried as this horse really was a favorite.  A week after Klondike left the farm the fellow who bought him called to ask if Klondike  had ever been lame in the past,  as he was very lame now.   Jackie went to see what had happened and sure enough Klondike was lame  (Dead lame).   Jackie gave the fellow another horse and brought Klondike home,  we certainly did not want to sell a lame horse,  two days later all lameness was gone..  HMMMM I wonder if ole Klondike just wanted to come home, it worked as he is back on the line and he won't be going anywhere soon.
